Alex Egner is a creative director, art director, graphic designer, and educator. He earned his BFA in Communication Design from the University of North Texas and, after several years of working in Dallas-Ft.Worth area ad agencies and design firms, obtained his MFA in Design: Visual Communications from Virginia Commonwealth University. His work has been recognized by numerous international organizations and publications, including the AIGA, the American Advertising Federation, Communication Arts, Graphis, HOW Magazine, Logo Lounge, Print Magazine, and the Type Director’s Club. He is currently an Associate Professor of Design at Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA and continues to maintain a thriving professional creative practice for clients of all stripes.
